Quick Question

Is it frowned upon to repost songs. Just curious because I rerecorded
the song Late Afternoon
with a full band. It's my third time posting the song but each posting is a different recording. I'm trying to see which version gets the better response. but yeah if it's just silly to keep posting the same song I have no problem stopping.

Post it. That kind of thing is encouraged. You can also put a comment in there asking listeners to compare it to the other versions if you want.

Unless you have a "major" musical addition/mix change, it will most likely be of little use.
Things that get changed, those little tweaks that bring our ears and music we do closer to the Nirvana that we desire...go un-noticed by others mostly.

Then you have to remember you deal with "flux" on a day-2-day basis here meaning that the same ears that heard it last week may not be here next week...and may never return. There again those that hang around, Ronnie and myself, get bored rather easily:0

I get bored too.  I just act on it.
I'll look for it Adam.  I think I liked it the first time, but I can't remember.

yeah i guess it does get rather boring for the regulars to hear the same songs. i've just always been a fan of hearing how songs evolve. I saw this doc. on vh1 about the steve miller album Fly like an Eagle. I just thought it was really cool the hear how his demos for that album sounded so different from the final version. anyway, thanks for answering my question.
