MAsterWriter software

It's $70 cheaper at Amazon than buying it from the MAsterWriter site.

It's GREAT software!! At either price you won't lose. But if you can $70 off then Amazon is the place to buy it.

The tech support is also great!

What the???! Man, I'm hitting myself for not knowing that! Did one of you guys design it?
Can I get the $70 refund or an extra year of SongGuard for free?

Dude - it's on the home page right below the ad - we have a discount code.

We didn't write it, but think it's pretty cool - it met the requirements for the kind of product/service we want to advertise here.

Thanks for getting our back, Jack!

Yeah, but 820 was it always there?

Was it there as long as the ad has been there?

If not when did it get there?

Steve -- That discount code has been hiding in plain sight from the first moment the ad went up.

The designer of this software is Barry Devorzon -- He wrote Nadia's Theme, and a bunch of other tunes you'd know. He's a very nice gentleman and, rightly, very proud of his product. If you have nice things to say about it, I'll pass it on to him. Steve--Shoot an email with your situation to the contactus@artistweekly.com address and I'll see what I can do. I can't promise anything, but it's at least worthwhile to let him know you found out about it through AW.

Couldn't we just let him keep hitting his self instead?

Just to fair, Steve - it wasn't always there.  I don't remember when we added it, but it relaced the Musician's Friend banner we started the new look site with a while back.

(and my tone in the previous post didn't read as I wrote it - I meant it as good humored chiding, but it reads as smarmy know-it-all-ness, so I apologize for that.  I pledge to increase and perfect my use of emoticons)

Hey guys I didn't take any of your comments the wrong way.

I already wrote Matt Devorzon (tech support) and he threw something my way in spite of my ignorance to buy it here or Amazon.

At any rate, the software rocks! And I highly recommend it whatever price.

I went from a midi keyboard covered with Thesaurus, dictionary, rhyming dictionary and other crap on it to...no books at all on it thanks to that software.

Now if the thing only had a cheesey lyric highlighter so I could de-cheese my tunes

I used it last year for a while(probably until it timed out;) it just never took the place of my books and paper. Maybe I will give it another look. Then again I do most of my best writing behind the wheel of an automobile.
