I've gotten some not too constructive critisms about a couple of my songs. I suspect its because there are no vocals. This site and many forums seem to be slanted away from instrumentals. Rarely do I get constructive critism, its mostly bashing. If people prefer vocals, that's fine, but there is a whole world of music out there with no vocals. Its obvious uploading an instrumental song here is pointless.
must not be obvious enough. if your work is worth a hoot it may get some valid comments...but you may have to put on a thick coat to stand there long enough to realize you are getting into someones head.
Why don't ya give it a try, get in with the boys and girls and see if anything develops worth while?

Yes there is a place for INSTRUMENTALS, But DON'T confuse non-vocal musical arrangements for true instumentals.
