As I said in a previous post, my father was having some health problems so I would not be around for a while. On Tuesday, my father passed away from ALS. He was 60 years old. It was quite sudden how it happened, as he had not been ill for very long. His wife, my step mom, passed away a year ago and my dad went down hill from there. He never really recovered from the loss. I would say honestly that mentally and emotionally he died that day as well. All in all, the family is saying that he died of a broken heart. I will be in and out to the site again, but I have a lot of things to go through. THanks to all - Dave.
Thanks Jack and Ronnie for the support. I posted a song I wrote for my dad called "No Longer Here". It's not a song that has 'hit' potential or anything, and no amount of critiquing is going to change it. I just wanted to post it for my dad. Stop in and have a listen. Yes, this life is not like I planned...It has been very rough. I do have some very good friends and a blessing known as my wife to get me through. Thanks BC.
