Hey all,


We've been doing a little marketing here and song submissions are up recently so it seems to be paying off. I love that so many people get enjoyment out of this site and I would like to ask you fine folks for a small favor: When you get an opportunity, mention this site to your friends, put a link on your website, or tell a fellow musician about us. If anyone has more suggestions feel free to post 'em.

Thanks, CA. I wanted to keep posting at JPF but apparently they blocked me! Why a site with like 50k users would feel threatened, I don't understand. It probably has something to do with their 1996 high school AV department web design. You'll notice that we don't mind people posting info about other sites here, as long as it's relevant (Jack, that means stop posting links about cheap meds:).

You really ARE my hero! Developed this site, took a beatin' at home but never ONCE did you roll over to the fans. Like they did in Alabama, but that's another game for another day.

Last time I was there I couldn't find the thread. I suppose it was removed. I was basically there pimping AW and Brian got upset, and rightfully so. In hindsight I should have asked him first, but I thought his users might actually enjoy my site (which I don't see as being a competitor with his site). He tried to flame me, quite unsuccessfully -- because he probably wasn't expecting me to flame back. In the end, most of his users in the thread were on my side. It was a good time.
