The new album "The Earth Opened It's Mouth" is now out, and it's free! This album completes the trilogy that I started in 2005 with "The Gates of Mars", and continued in 2006 with "In Defence of the Madman". It follows the same post post-apocoliptic tale, and odd characters as my previous two solo albums, and finishes the musical story. This is all new material, that features a new and different sound than previous albums, and also has guest appearances by talented artists JT Hathaway and Sarah Wynne Taylor (White Raven).
I usually release one album a year, I did a side project called "Fan Fair" in 2007. But this year I decided to make the album available for free. I just got fed up with all the hassle to get albums listed on itunes and CDbaby, ect. and I'm really not in it for the money. So go ahead, download away.
I see that now Richard. That's good, it's an association game that I like to play.
When you think about it BC, it is overpriced. Everyone wants to sell their cd to the unsuspecting public. Those days are over before they ever even got going good. I see it as like giving away something desirable to the public, like what AW does. Any website can be used as a vehicle to move things. So to give away a full cd, no matter if the listener knows you or not, likes it or not, your cd can find a place on the Ipod of thousands of users! It's my vision of viral marketing for music.
What we should see coming soon will be the cd reaches out from the Ipod or computer or what have you, and "sees" that an "update" is available. So a new album has been produced and the listener can make a buy with the music gadget.
It's coming, I don't know who or when, but you heard ME say it first :)
Just a heads up on this, some of you were having confusion finding where to download this on the 4shared site...I'm happy to say that 4shared has now reformatted their site and it's now much easier to download. When the 4shared site first comes up there should now be a simple "download now" button that appears instantly, in comparison to the way that it was making everyone wait five minutes before the button appeared on the page.
btw thank you to everyone who has downloaded and reviewed!
