I WANNA TALK ABOUT MEEEEE ;- ) !

Who did that song - I thought that was a pretty funny song. I think it was Toby Keith (?)

Anyway.....okay, y'all, wish me luck!... Packing up tomorrow to leave on Thurs for Nashville. Gee, seems like onlycould it be..yeh , sigh .a mere seven months ago, I flew out of Orlando in the pre-dawn hours, to Nashville, stood in line for two+ hours with about 100 other guitar-toters for a one-minute audition at the Bluebird Café - then a week later got a letter inviting me to come back and perform Sunday April 20. I know, I know, everybody I know is, like, oh my gawd, hasnt she gone there and done that YET????

Besides the Sunday 4/20 Bluebird show, I have in-the-round appearances Monday 4/21 at the Dan McGuiness Pub, Tues 4/22 at the Commodore Lounge, and Wednesday 4/23 at the Hall of Fame Lounge.  Soooooooo if any of ya know anyone in Music City area these days, point em my way. Hey, that goes for you 30-60 per-day forum lurkers, too! Thurs is my one night to get out and see "something" somewhere, so any recommendations, lemme know.

Oh, and I have a little send-off on an Internet radio show on Tues April 15 at 2 pm, with some songwriter friends, a couple of whom had careers Nashville in the 80s 90s and another who is currently a regular performer in Nashville  several times a year.  The website is for the radio show is
There is supposed to be live audio and video, but I have never been able to get any video; probably takes some kind of way-newer application or technology than what I have. Anyway, if things are slow at work for ya or you need a break from finishing the ol' taxes or you're otherwise under-occupied Tues afternoon, tune in check it out ..........and send me some good cosmic vibes or whatever for the Nashville shows.......!

Til next time......

You just do what you do girl. That is very unique and that is what this world likes the most.

But I might suggest a very thin V neck top with a light jacket...Very thin and very V:)

Lord knows I would do it if it would help..but who hasn't seen a guy singing with a low plunging neckline these days?

Edit:
You guys driving or flying? If you drive...woo..if your flying, I'll be the one out on the Interstate @ Exit 4 in Alabama screaming at the sky! Should be a few blue and red lights around me to orient your sky vision with :) Maybe yellow lights too, depends if they tow my truck or not this time!

Thanks, you all, very very much!

Ha - low cut I can still get away with, in my old Frederick of Hollywood's push-up, anyway (like a friend used call it, a Rawhide bra - round 'em up and head 'em out) -- but very thin, eegads, I don't wanna scare everybody outta the place......!

We are driving - but I don't think we cross into 'bama. It is mostly I-95 from the east coast, over to I-75 then up I-24. How far are you form that tri-state convergence of GA, AL, and TN??? I'll throw ya a cold beer on the way through....! Actually, I guess I shouldn't joke about stuff like that anymore, there's so many things that have become so terribly politically INcorrect. I had a bartender friend, "back when," who made us up membership cards for D.A.M.M. (Drunks Against Mad Mothers)....nah, that's not funny anymore....

How far are you form that tri-state convergence of GA, AL, and TN???

'Bout 5, 6 hours ;)

Well, since things are still kinda quiet here on the forum scene...I'll keep talking....or more accurately, resume talking.......about meeeeeeea

Had a great trip to Nashville. Several relations rolled in to join us for a couple of nights, of course for the Bluebird show-- the Sunday songwriters' night, in fact, is PACKED mainly because every newbie-wannbe-oh gosh-I'm HERE (like meeee) brings scadzillions of people. So the place was mostly full o
f performers'  friends and families. The MC alluded to the possibility of various famous somebodies showing up to check out the new talent, the old you-never-know-who-will-drop-in line, which probably lures in even more tourists, but I don't think that's very often the case. I did manage to get invited back again for the first Sunday in November. So barring being even more broke than usual, am planning to return then. And in the mean time, jes' keep on doing what I do ....I also got invited back to the other venues, but given that I've burned up all my vacation for a long time, not much likelihood of such a long trip then...

I have some picutres I will get posted to
www.sonicbids.com/sharonosuna whenever I find the camera. I don't think BC will object to me mentioning that site, it is not a competing evaluation type site, just a place to put your press kit stuff.

One thing I noticed especially going to the Writer-in-the-Round shows -- there are many, many, MANY people writing beautiful, utterly undistinguished and largely boring songs, seemingly according to some current formula, I think, because so many of them sound identical ...I expected to hear really new, cutting edge ideas and styles, but I hear far more interesting and adventurous material here at AW...just an observation really....interesting and adventurous may nonetheless end up getting us all nuttin'.....peace.

Glad it went well Ms. O, you deserve it. Ya know that bitch, I mean, the lady that ran the place in 198something didn't like my work! It's seems to be a continuing trend :)
