Why So Series

What dose it mean, what is it about, who are you making fun of. This is some of the questions that I have been ask about my song this week. ( Surfing The Word ) I did this song for one reason only. To have fun Some one said it was almost childish, So at least some one gets it. My question is why dose music have to be so series all the time. I read comments from other songs and I seen the same thing. Intact it looks like some people did not even take the time to wright it, they just copied and past. Now don't get me wrong I am thankful for every comment I get, even from the atheist guy. But would it not be better to judge a song for the song it's self, how it is put together rather than just what it is about. I mean there are songs out there today and frome the past that made it all the way to the top and are about nothing. Just think when you can get a hit song just by saying thong thong thong over and aver it is clear that it's not always what the song is about that seals it.

I got it, if that helps.  I also rated it a 3, because I took it for what it was a fun song that maybe didn't do much new but so what

RE: Why So Serious

It is reasonable to infer that the "childish" statement given by others, was in reference to "childlike" .  As in a carefree, gay or gleeful experience.

I would take a good look at my motives for being on Tim Berners-Lees' "world wide web" Mr. Gordon.

You are  http://www.eddiegordon.com/  Eddie Gordon correct?

The same E.G. that is now point blank, with no idea of who this man is or what this mans belief structure is, referring to me as atheist?

“Neither do I condemn Thee. Go and sin no more”.

Words to live by,

Jack O'Brien

OK first of all I mean no disrespect to Jack are any one else for that mater. Second, the atheist remark was only a joke going back to the reply I got on the ( Am I A Sell Out?) post I did a few weeks back. When some one pretended to be Jesus. I don't remember who it was. Still it was a dumb thing to say. So I am sorry for that.

So why am I on the world wide web? Im not real sure what you mean by that but I will say that the reason for my web site is very serious. But not every song that I do. And my reason for being apart of artist weekly is strictly for the fun of it. Not that I would not enjoy wining one week, but I am not looking to anytime soon. And as I said before I am thankful for each and every comment good are bad.

Hey Eddie, I know your doing the best you can.  Heck, that surfing song was really ok. But...

I suppose the reason that "Surfing the web" registers pretty low on my scale is that in a viable market it has little to no value. Sure as a novelty it's fine, it reminds the listener of The Ventures "Pipeline." But that is about where it ends.

The "message" you want to project is lost. Believe what you want to believe. It will not be taken seriously in that package in this business. You ever heard of Keith Green or the Keith Green ministries / Last Days Ministries?

Take a listen sometime,

Jack
