As far as its relationship to the title of the song, it was signifying the feeling of being confined, not able to express oneself, and the act of coming out in order to find oneself.

If I read it right the singer drinks too much and is going down the toilet because of a secret, i.e., is homosexual:)

OK. The heart and spirit of the song are there.

Strip the 1 min. 25 second intro off and all the work after the last word is spoken and what do you have? Room for improvement.
