This is to all of you who made comments to this song. First and formost, thank you for listening. I wrote these words to my neice with love. She lost her dad at a young age. Obviously he was the engineer of a train. I watched one of those "decorate a room" shows on tv where they mounted a Little Toy Train around the perimiter of a little boys room. He was so tickled when he saw it. I was inspired! What better to give my niece than a special thought of her dad before she falls asleep each night. I guess I just wanted her to be able to share a special time with her Dad, If not in person... Maybe...In her dreams! If there is a better way to get that point across, I am open to suggestion. Thanks so much. Debbie
I first read your post a few days ago and have been thinking about it off and on since. I primarily wanted to let you know that the post had not been ignored; I imagine there are many others who also considered it carefully.
The idea for the song (and gift of song) is thoughtful and sweet. I'm sure you are an amazing aunt. Whatever you decide personally to be the completed song will be the best one. At the same time, if I can help in some other way I'd be happy to.
