I'm just wondering, if you like country, what is your favorite country tune on AW? Don't limit yourselves to things on the Country page, Brad Benton for example often mischaracterizes his work, sometimes I think it very country-esque. Barb Sharples does that sometimes too. Anyhow, just wondering. I have my opinions. What are yours?
I will be a real cowboy is one of my favorites, Daniel Casavant really outdid himself on that one. I'm hot and cold on Barb, I really like "up until now" I mean fanatically, but a couple others had me passing on commenting out of respect for what i knew she could do. We all write some that are better than others of our own. Barb is consistently at least pretty good though. Some of her songs are just amazing.
I like Coffee Anon's songs. They seem to have a little more depth than the other country songs I haven't listened to. Actually, the only trouble with Coffee's songs is that they can be very hard to find. But you know what they say... I hope you do because I don't. Great tunes Coffee! My favorite is Round Grounds for the Hounds. Whoopie!!!
