Are you all asleep at the switch? I can't do it all here people! I am struggling to recall the last time I saw a bold rating, indicating one of you "pro-types" rated a song. What gives? Bored already? Scared? Lazy? Busy voting for Daniel on American idol underground? (highly encouraged by the way)
I'm also kinda curious how a song that had nine plays (OK AT LEAST two of those were me) and two posted (One was mine) comments gets song of the week? No sour grapes here either, I didn't have a song in the running. It just seems like me and the AW staff might be the only people that heard it. Not that it's a bad song, I thought it was pretty good, if not a litle trite, but well done otherwise.
You guys on autopilot or what? Are you passing out lifevests and just not telling those of us traveling stowage?
Now now Coffee, don't get your bra in a knot. I have to admit, I missed that song completely - didn't hear it 'till I noticed it took home top honors. The AW staff obviously did however, so ...
The point I wanted to make (at the risk of having coffee poured over me) is that this is a free site. Need I say more?
I too, miss the BOLD comments. I agree with Don. How much can you expect for free. I do think, all in all, they ( AW ) are listening. Sometimes I'm not sure I understand their criteria for choosing the top 4 songs. I do believe that WE Ourselves are learning to make better comments on other peoples songs. I could be wrong, but I think maybe, AW is beginning to believe WE could Make this our own SITE. If we behave honestly. This is a Great thing. The essence is here. I must admit, after listening to ALL the past WINNERS, I believe AW knows exactily what they are doing. (LOL -That's "Lots Of Love", in my booklet.) Sincerely, Jeff
Sorry for the delay on posting this week's winners, and we hope not to repeat that mistake again.
Also, we are contacting all of our judges to see if we can stoke the fire for more comments from them. These entertainment types - if you don't stay on them, they won't do anything!!!!
We did have a system glitch that caused a few to sneak through without being bolded, but it's a daunting task to go back through them and flag them. (Plus, that doesn't account for the sagging numbers - just thought I'd mention it)
