We'll try this for a while. Please give me your opinion. Oh, and if some mean person signs up with your name, I will delete their account, ban their IP, and give the name to the rightful owner. That is a warning to those that would fraudulently pose as a different member -- It ain't worth it, you won't be able to keep it, and it is a hassle for me.

Enough of the Big Brother talk. Let's get out there and have some fun.

Thanks all.

One "yea" so far. I can't imagine I'll get too many "nay's".

Damn thoughtful of ya to secure the login Jack for me BC! Where else in the wide-world of sports would someone like me get such fine treatment. Oh you do that for everyone? Sure ya do.

Let's have a spin at it this way, seems like a good direction. Might slowdown a bit what with me getting my meds figured out. Seems the Doc gave me OxyCotin and it read "take for times daily." Come to find out, it read "take four times". The perscription was to some fella named Daily!

Liked to killed me!

Anywho...rock on!

Jack

Yours was the only username that I secured, Jack. I figured there was a high likelyhood that someone would grab it just to cheese you off.

any news about AW, things to look forward to (i.e. song writers workshops, new site sections, your plans for where this site is headed, any IPOs for co-investment)

Steve, we aren't planning an IPO any time soon, but you are welcome to send me money. This site is still just a baby, but we are soon going to have someone working on it (almost) full-time to help build traffic, figure out some promos, make improvements, and get this community growing. We really appreciate your input, your music, and the fact that you hang around -- You are definitely a pillar of this community.

I did say it would slow down...and it has. It's more fun being in the forums now that nothing is happening.

And the yahoos that "rate" songs haven't changed much. If at all. It's like a small stream of same-thinking people are let out of thier padded room every month and sent on thier way to try thier hand at seeing who can give the most useless none useable comment towards music they don't like to begin with.

I love this one..."obviously midi and too repetitious". How masterful is that? Aren't songs supposed to be repetative? Maybe it just bores the collective and they learned the neat midi acronym and had to find a place to use it.

Guess those head doctors have a method to the madness after-all.

Oh, I have an even more inane and useless comment - to a song I posted as Gospel, that includes "Hymn" as part of its title, I got a comment that criticizes the subject matter for being "science fiction." So what is the point of the comment, that a hymn should be about something, what, more realistic and down-to-earth????? Why would anyone who equates religion with science fiction even bother to listen to and comment on a religious song?
