It seems like posting five of your songs at once is a bad practice. Each song gets compared to the last and doesn't get judged on its own merit. That's my take, anyway.
Seems like if it "has" to be like that, the songs should be submitted "best foot forward" so as not to disturb the weary. Then, after a listener hears the first good song, he/she may be more in a frame of mind to be positive, thinking that the submitter is really wanting structured commentary.
The alternative can be the submitter just send in a whole bunch of stuff that gums up the works and makes the submitter look like an idiot and really pisses me, I mean, the weary, off.
