Jack - at some point, did you decide that a major goal of your use of this site would be to drive as many people off of it as possible? I don't get it - sometimes, you are one of the most helpful people here, and sometimes (like in this post) you sound like you'd like to ban everyone who says anything you don't like. Topics that are ignored will die quietly on their own - let 'em be if you find them so painfully objectionable.....
22 songs entered this week (to end 12/31/2006) by 16(SIXTEEN) different artists:
2 or 3 people have actually made comments on any one of the songs.
I would expect that at least SIXTEEN comments would be made for Each and every song. Doesn't matter, "hey cool riff", "wow you really do suck", "etc.etc.etc."
But no, we don't get that, we get manic minds and published aurthors too good to be here, but here none the less, who help in NO way but to fill up space awaiting, what the lot of them percieve to be, the wrong assessment of thier music so they can explain to the listeners why they are good, what we don't understand about why they are so good, I have a life which is another reason why you don't understand why I am so good.
And then they move on.
Drivin' by and talking s-h-i-t is easy.
The hard part is to stay day after day, month after month and do what even the submitters will not dirty thier hands doing...making comments usable or NOT...and being a part of something bigger then the rose-colored mind of the hopeful or the infested thinking of the soon to be also-rans.
